article: Aug 23 2005 - Pawanui Seismic Drum

The seismograph station at Pawanui Station in southern Hawke's Bay has been moved a few hundred metres to a site with better contact to bedrock.

The seismic drum display has now been restored. The site has a new station code PXZ, and this will be inserted into the location maps during the next site upgrade.
