article: Nov 9 2007 - Young River update
Summary of activities.

The lake-level sensor at Young River.
On November 1, GNS scientists visited the Young River landslide to download and check the lake-level sensor and camera and to make another detailed terrestrial laser scan survey of the landslide. Weather on the October 9 visit had prevented the full source area being surveyed. The new scan covers a much larger part of the landslide source area, and will allow us to more accurately calculate the landslide source volume to compare with the deposit volume. Changes to the dam since the last survey are now being analysed.
