Dec 3 2009 - GNS Science seeks Systems Administrator for GeoNet
GNS Science is seeking an experienced Linux systems administrator to maintain and develop the core systems used by GeoNet.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven Linux experience with RHCE an advantage.
- In depth knowledge of Apache Httpd and Tomcat.
- Experience with a range of open source software packages (e.g. Request Tracker, Big Brother, Nagios, MediaWiki, Gallery) and the ability to extend and customise them to suit our operations.
The position will work closely with a small team of developers and provide support to other areas of the project. The ability to work in a team and maintain diverse relationships beyond the team is crucial.
