We are pleased to unveil a number of new data resources for both researchers and web developers alike.

The GeoNet project not only monitors geological hazards, it also collects high-quality data to support you, whether you are a researcher or a web developer who needs to use our information. Our updated Resources section features:

Continuous Waveform Buffer (CWB)

The CWB is a repository of all continuous seismic and tsunami waveforms collected by the GeoNet project. They can be retrieved in three commonly-used formats using a Java client, which will run on any operating system supporting Java.

RSS feeds

We have added RSS feeds for:

  • Volcanic Alert Level
  • Aviation Alert Level
  • A combined News and Volcanic Alert Bulletins service

Volcano resources

We provide detailed information on ways you can get our volcano camera images and the seismic drums and RSAM/SSAM images for your own project.
