Tsunami Resources
A collection of tsunami-related data resources and tools.
Note: All the links below will take you to pages and applications within the Resources section of the GeoNet website.
Basic data
- Tsunami Data: retrieve tsunami gauge data using FTP.
- Waveform Data: retrieve tsunami waveform data in SAC, MiniSEED or plain text format using CWB.
Data quality
- Latency: view PDFs of latency plots, organised by year, month and network code "tg" (ie. files tg.pdf).
Publications
- New Zealand Tsunami Monitoring Network (PDF, 607 kb): a brochure describing the scope of the network and its equipment.
