The Volcanic Activity Centre is situated next to the Wairakei Research Centre, home to the Wairakei GeoNet Data Centre. Note that there is an entry fee to visit the centre. GeoNet will give a presentation to your group or organisation during opening hours of 9am to 5pm.

The Volcanic Activity Centre is a 5 minute drive north of Taupo; for information and location details visit the Volcanic Activity Centre website.
