Science Alert Bulletin RUA-2001/01 - Moderately-elevated volcanic tremor activity
GNS has recorded moderately-elevated volcanic tremor during the last week. Poor weather has prevented observations of the volcano and no reports of eruptive or other unusual activity have been received.
GNS volcanologists will continue to closely monitor activity at Ruapehu and further updates will be issued as necessary.
Ruapehu remains at Alert Level 1.
