GeoNet data users - new tutorials now available!

Our Data Management team have been working hard all summer to produce a series of tutorials that makes it even easier to explore our data.

GeoNet collects a wide range of data for monitoring and researching geohazards in New Zealand. All of this information is available to anyone interested (and has been since GeoNet started nearly two decades ago).

In a move to help the science community (and keen data enthusiasts!) access and use this data, our Data Management team have created 12 tutorials in two common scientific programming languages (Python and R) covering all the data types GeoNet collects: seismic, coastal sea level, geodetic, and volcanic.

The tutorials have their own page on our website at the bottom of the ‘Data’ tab on the homepage:
